Marble Staining Problem

I also discovered how to lift up small beginnings of stains with a poultice made of baking soda and water mixed into a paste and left on the countertop overnight. A marble stain is when a substance is absorbed into the pores of the marble. These stains can be the result of a water glass that was left on a marble countertop for too long or from hard water buildup around sinks and showers.
